Please Join us and become part of the happening which calls on us to listen and care for the river and the entanglement of ecosystems and biodiversity it supports.
Forty million years ago
this place breathed as rainforest. Ferns unfurled where the river now flows. Ancient beings moved through canopy and understory that have long since become compressed into memory, coal, amber.
For World Rivers Day 2026, UNSEEN returns as entanglements - an evening where past and present, seen and unseen, human and more-than-human, weave together in sound, light and shadow.
There is no audience here, only participants moving through different modes of engagement. Some will create - shaping shadows, forms, colour, movement. Some will play - stepping behind the screens, becoming fern, becoming fossil, becoming water finding its way through trees. Some will simply be present - witnessing, wandering, wondering.
Come as you are, or come reimagined. This is a happening, not a performance - unfolding through our collective imagination.
